New Rules of The CVM Insurance Market for Administrators
New rules released by the CVM (Securities Commission) last year, which began taking effect this year, they messed with the insurance market in Brazil, more precisely with the D & O liability insurance for directors. They are in CVM Instruction 480, issued in December 2009 which deals with the submission of periodic information provided by issuers of securities and “came to increase the transparency of company with the CVM and the investor” in the words of director of branch lines Financial Liberty Insurance, Renato Rodrigues.
